Rapadura
In your description of Rapunzel's chocolate you talk about 'rapadura'. I have never heard this word before and can't find it in a dictionary. Help! What does it mean?

Dear Anita
Rapadura is a completely delicious sticky brown powder that's made from sugar cane juice. Pure natural sugar cane juice is a refreshing drink made from simply squashing natural raw sugar canes. It's popular in countries like Venezuela and India where sugar cane plants grow.
Rapadura is made by evaporating the water from the juice, leaving a dry sticky residue rich in vitamins and minerals. It's like refined sugar from sugar cane, but without the refining.
Whereas refined white sugar is just carbs with no goodness, rapadura is a whole food with plenty of flavour, life and goodness in it. It tastes a bit like toffee, which I really like in lots of recipes, including Rapunzel's chocolate.
Best wishes

Thank you so much for your reply - damn here's something else I probably shouldn't have too much of as it tastes nice!
