Organic nutrition
Hello, my name is Amy and I'm a college freshman doing a paper on organic food. I've been doing reasearch for this topic and I came across your site. I noticed you said that organic food had more "vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and trace nutrients" than food grown in pesticides. According to my other sources, though, I found that they can't tell if there are more nutritional values of organic food besides there being more vitamin C. I was wondering if you could tell me where you got your information or how you came to that conclusion. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Amy,
It was research funded by the Soil Association.
Also it makes obvious sense when you consider it... Organic means no artificial fertilisers or artificial soil nutrients. No artificial fertilisers means slower plant growth. So more time for the plant to absorb nutrition from the rich soil.
Best of luck...
Ysanne
