Kaffir
What do you know about cofer? Not sure that is the spelling. A lady in the grocery store was talking about putting it in raw milk. Can you enlighten me about all of this. Thanks,
Vickie
That sounds like kaffir. It's a milk drink that's like yoghurt, but it's fermented. It originates in Anatolian mountains, i.e. around Turkey / Azerbaijan area. It's tricky to find in the West and is an acquired taste.
It is extremely good for your good bacteria (way more so than most little modern bottles of bacteria stuff), and is a proper whole food.

Thank you Ysanne! A little knowledge goes a long way.
