Biodynamic farming
Your site is excellent, congratulations.
Could you tell me though, what the difference is between organic and biodynamic?
Thanks
Tim Marlowe
Thanks for your nice comments. In short, biodynamic gardening is organics taken a step further. Biodynamic farmers avoid all modern helpers, whereas organic farmers may use some when it's absolutely the last reort. For example, if an organically farmed cow get extremely ill, an organic farmer may as a last resort give the cow some antibiotics. No milk will be taken from this cow until the antibiotics have completely left her system. However, a biodynamic cow with the same condition would never receive antibiotics. They can only be treated by a naturopath.
Biodynamic farming also works with moon cycles, angels and God to help plants to grow. Which might sound a bit kooky, but works incredibly well. Please go to http://www.anth.org.uk/biodynamic/What%20is%20biodynamics.htm to find out more.
Best wishes
